Notice is hereby given that the Chair of the City of Chula Vista’s Civil Service Commission has
called and will convene a Special Meeting of the Civil Service Commission on Thursday, April
20, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in the Human Resources Department, HR Conference Room B111/B112,
located at 276 Fourth Avenue, Bldg. C Chula Vista, California to consider the item(s) on this
agenda.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Commission on any agenda
matter within the Commission’s jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda.
State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any
issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the
topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three
minutes.

SERVICE RULE 1.08 D AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957(B)(1).
ADJOURNMENT to the special meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 3:30 p.m., in
Conference Room B111/B112, Public Services Building North Bldg. C, at
City Hall, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California.
Materials provided to the Civil Service Commission related to any open-session item on this
agenda are available for public review in the Human Resources Department at City Hall,
Building 300, Human Resources Department 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista during normal
business hours.
