ACTION ITEMS a) DVBE update: Update on the City of Chula Vista’s Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) program. b) Fallen Veteran Memorial at Memorial Park. Discussion of placement of memorial and of possible replacement. c) Commissioner Wunders absence from June 2016 meeting d) Officer Nominations/Elections e) Chula Vista Veterans Park Brick Program. Discussion of possibly inviting representative for the Brick Program to a future VAC meeting to discuss how the money raised is broken down. f) Fallen Heroes Banners at Otay Ranch Mall g) Veteran of the Year h) Coronado 4th of July Parade i) Stand Down San Diego 2016 volunteer opportunity j) Food 4 Warriors wrap up k) Veteran Walk 2016 l) Veteran benefit seminar m) Wifi at Veterans home for guests and visitors/committee members n) City of Chula Vista website, VAC page.
