Notice is hereby given that Healthy Chula Vista Advisory Commission of the City of Chula
Vista has called and will convene a Regular Meeting on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in

1. INTRODUCTIONS
RECOMMENDED ACTION: None.
2. ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR FOR FISCAL YEAR 201512016
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Commissioners nominate and elect the Chair and Vice Chair for
the period of April 14, 2016 - Jane 30, 2016.
3. INITIAL CLASSIFICATION OF APPOINTEES
In accordance with Chula Vista Charter Section 602(b), the members must classify themselves by
lot to determine when each member's term shall expire.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Commissioners determine term expiration dates for each
member by lot, in accordance with Charter Section 602(b).
4. UPDATE TO CITY FACILITY VENDING POLICY 840-04
City staff will provide an overview of the existing policy for vending machines in city facilities
and proposed changes to the policy.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Commission provides an advisory recommendation to Council
. on proposed updates to Vending Policy 840-04.
5. LETTER OF COMMITMENT TO REQUEST ENTRANCE INTO THE AARP NETWORK OF
AGE FRIENDLY COMMUNITIES
City staff will provide an overview of the AARP/WHO Age Friendly Community designation
process.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Commission provide an advisory recommendation to Council to
submit a request and commitment letter to enter into the
AARP/WHO Global Network of Age Friendly Communities.
