Items pulled from the Consent Calendar will be discussed immediately following the Consent Calendar. 1. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS A. Email from Commissioner Gonzales requesting an excused absence from the April 7, 2016 regular Civil Service Commission meeting. B. Email from Commissioner Paseman requesting an excused absence from the April 7, 2016 regular Civil Service Commission meeting. C. Email from Commissioner Carbuccia requesting an excused absence from the May 5, 2016 regular Civil Service Commission meeting. Staff recommendation: Commission excuses the absences. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of April 7, 2016 and May 5, 2016 Staff recommendation: Commission approves the minutes. 3. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL ADJUSTMENT (STAFFING) REPORTS: 1601100 Staff recommendation: Commission approves the staffing report. 4. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF ELIGIBLE LISTS: A. Animal Care Specialist (RECRUITMENT #16534303) B. Fire Captain (RECRUITMENT #16558301P) C. Police Agent (RECRUITMENT #16505102P) D. Police Recruit, Merged List (RECRUITMENT #16507102) E. Police Sergeant (RECRUITMENT #16504102P) F. Recreation Supervisor III (RECRUITMENT #16742203) Staff recommendation: Commission approves the eligible lists. State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes. ACTION ITEMS The item(s) listed in this section of the agenda will be considered individually by the Commission and are expected to elicit discussion and deliberation. If you wish to speak on any item, please advise the Chairperson prior to the meeting. 5. CONSIDERATION FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE FIRE ENGINEER ELIGIBLE LIST (RECRUITMENT #15560304P) TO JUNE 24, 2017. Staff recommendation: Commission approves the extension. 6. CONSIDERATION FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE OPEN SPACE INSPECTOR ELIGIBLE LIST (RECRUITMENT #15631110) TO DECEMBER 6, 2016. Staff recommendation: Commission approves the extension. 7. CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE THE ADDITION OF THE FOLLOWING CLASSIFICATION TO THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN PER CIVIL SERVICE RULE 1.02 A (3) A.
