THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, a chartered municipal corporation (Grantor), grants to SA1
DIEGO GAS R ELECTRIC C0 4PANY, a corporation (Grantee), an easement and right of wav in_
upon; over. under and across the lands hereinafter described, to erect, construct,.change the size of,
improve. reconstruct. relocate, repai:, maintain and use facilities consistine of:
I. Underground facilities and appurtenances for the transmission and distribution of
electricin.
2. Communication facilities: and appurtenances.
The above facilities H ill be installed at such locations and ele ations upon, alons, o er and under
the hereinafter described easemen[ as Grantee ma• now or hereafter deem conrenient or necessan.
Grantee also has the right of ingress and eeress, to, from and alone this easement in, upon, over and
across the hereinafter described lands. Grantee further has the rieht, but not the duty to clear and keep
this easement clear from e plosives, buildings, structures and materials.
The propem in which this easement and rieht of way is hereby granted is situated in the City of
Chula Vista. Counn of San Dieao. State of California described as folloN•s:

The easement in the aforesaid lands shall be more particularl described in Exhibit "A",
consisting of one (1) sheet and shown on Exhibit "AI". consisting of two (2) sheets. attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
Grantor shall not erect. place or construct. nor permit to be erected: placed or constructed, any
building or other structure. plant an tree, drill or dig any aell. vithin this easement.
Grantor shall not increase or decrease the eround surface elevations H ithin this easement after
instaliation of Grantee's facilities, H ithout prior H ritten consent of Grantee. which consent shall not
unreasonabl be ithheld.
Grantor further erants to Grantee the rieht to assien am or all of the riahts eranted in this
easement in whole or in part to other companies providing utility or communication facilities/sen ices.
Grantee shall have the rieht but not the duty, to trim or remove trees and brush alone or adjacent
to this easement and remove roots from H ithin this easement H hene er Grantee deems it necessan.
Said right shall not relie e Grantor of the duty as owner to trim or remove trees and brush to prevent
daneer or hazard to propem or persons.
