RESOLUTION OF 7HE CTTY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING TO
THE CITY COUNCIL TNE CHANGE OF ZONE FOR 12.33 ACRES AT

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1845, adc,�ted by the City Council on November 28;
1978, established the MHP (mobile home park) zone, and
WHEREAS, it was deemed expedient to consider designating various mobile
h�me ;�ark si tes to �_�?�: "�HP zo:�4, ���d
WHERE1�ti, th�: pr��cpased rezon-i ngs wi�l no c r°esul t �n any phys i cal rt�ange , and
are nct considered "projects'� uncier CEQA and therefore n�t subject to eE�E�iroi��inental
^e�ri ew, and
�JHEREAS, �he Gity Planning Commiss�ion set the time and place for a hearing
an �aid zone changea and notice of sa-�u h�zring5 i:ngether� with its pur�ose, was
yiven b;� tr�� E�ublicatian in a newspaper �f general circulation in the f�ity a��, ieast
�i0 days prior ta �he date of saici hearing, and
tiJHEREAS, a hearing was held at the time and place a� advertised, �iamely
7:00 pem. , F'ebruary 14, 1979, in the City Council Ghamhers befure the Planning
Commission and said hearing was thereafter closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
l . From facts presented to the Commission, the Commission finds �that
public necessityy convenience, general welfare and good zoning practic� require
the �hange of zone from R-3-L-M-F to MHP for approximately 12.33 acres.; located
at 345 "C" Street and developed as the Travelodge mubile home park.
