CA WHEREAS, approvine the proposed agreements between the City of Chula Vista and the three (3) selected consultants (agreements) ��ill ensure that City staff will obtain timely and cost- effective services to support all tqpes of projects: and \b'HEREAS. the Director of Development Sen-ices has re��iewed the proposed project for compliance with the Califomia Em�ironmental Qualit� Act (CEQA) and has determined that the project qualifies for a Class 6 Categorical Esemption pursuant to Section 1�306 (basic data collection; research; experimental mana�ement; and resource e��aluation activities that do not result in major disturbances to an em ironmental resource) of the State CEQA Guidelines. Thus. no further em�ironmental re��ie��• is required. Resolution No. 2016-029 Page No. 2 NO�V, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby approve the agreements between the City and Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants; RMA Group; and Twining Inc. to provide on-call geotechnical; storm ��ater monitoring, material testing, and special inspection consultant sen�ices for ��arious capital impro��ement projects and other City projects.
