THEREFOR
WHEREAS, Human Resources staff completed severa] department and emplo}�ee-
initiated dassification revieN�s: and
WIIERE.AS, the Citv Attorne�`s Office is proposine an increase in the salary of the La�ti�
Office I�4anaeer, an unclassified, "at �vill" position, to reflect what the Cit�� Attorne}� has
determined to be increased duties and eapectations beyond those reflected in the position`s
current description. A lack of comparable positions in the local and reeional mazket pre��ents a
salar�� sun�ey from being completed for this classification: and �
WHEREAS. the recommended chanees include a number of neN� classification titles that
are not currentlti� reflected in the Compensation Schedule and Classification Plan; and
V�'HEREAS, the recommended changes to the Compensation Schedule and Classification
Plan include the addition of the follo�rins ne�� titles of Accounts Pavable Supen�isor. FA Senior
Financial Analyst, FA Financial D4anaeer, FA IVDC-LECC Eaecutive Director and Senior
Electronics Technician_ and

WHEREAS, the recommended changes to the Compensation Schedule and Classification
Plan include the removal of the titles of CBAG IV-L�CC Director. Intem I, Intem II and Intern

NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cit}� of Chula
Vista; that it approves the amendments to the Compensation Schedule and Classification Plan to
reflect the changes described above.
