FOR THE F[SCAL YEAR 201�/2016 FOR A1AII�'TENANCE
DISTRICTS 9. ]0. AND THE TO��'I�' CEI�'7RE
MAII�'TENANCE DISTRICT
V�'HEREAS, pursuant to Article 4, Chapter l, part 2 of Di�ision 1� of the California
Streets and Highwa��s Code, also knowm as "Landscaping and Liehtine Act of 1972" and Chula
Vista n4unicipal Code Chapter 17.07, V�'illdan Financial Ser��ices, has prepazed and filed. on
behalf of and under the direction of the Citv Eneineer. the annual report (Engineer`s Report) for
all existin� Open Space A4aintenance Districts in the Cin of Chula \rista (Citv); and
WHEREAS, this Engineer's Report is presented to the Council for appro��al in order to
proceed �i�ith the public hearing set for July 14. 201�, in accordance with the Landscaping and
Liehting Act of 1972. This Report covers Open Space ?�4aintenance Districts 9. 10, and the
To��me Centre Maintenance District: and
WHEREAS. the proposed assessments for Fiscal 1'ear 20]�/2016 are as folio��-s:

(1)Town Centre rates have been based on parcel square footage since FY 2001/02. However, a Downtown PBID replaced this Distrid
in 2001,but the City detertnined that there was some potential long-tertn ezposure for Ihe City based on Ihe remote potential that the
wrrent PBID might not receive sufficient support for renewal processes.
(2)The Projected Revenues are preliminary figures based upon the prior yeafs EDU assignments and ihe Mazimum Rates(or Fiscal
Year 2015/2016.

Vista, that it appro�es this Eneineer's Report for Cin� Open Space Districts 9, ]0 and the To��ne

required or approved by the Cit}� Attorne��, a cop}� of��hich shall be kept on file in the Office of
the Cirv Clerk.
