HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1919-25-B �r RESOLUTION #25-B Original Resolution Missing Excerpt from minutes of Board of Trustees Meeting of August 19, 1919 Mr. Clay made a few remarks about the way the committee was treated by the representative of the Cement association, and suggested a vote of thanks be given Mr. McBeth, Mr. Barnes introduced a resolution as follows: Whereas, the Committee of the Board of Trustees, appointed to further examine into the merits of the various types of paving, were on a part of their trip in so doing the guests of, and shown many paving jobs by Norman McBeth, assistant manager of the Riverside Portland Cement compny, and were so fairly and courteously treated by him in so doing, that it is a pleasure for us to express to him our appreciation for so doing, and we hereby express our thanks and gratitude to him for such treatment, and request that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to him. (Signed) Thos. J.H. McKnight, Judson Bent & Frank Howe, Trustees Edward M. Lynch, Engineer, Perry Clay for the citizens. Moved by Barnes, second by Noyes that the Resolution be approved. Motion carried by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Howe, Barnes, Bent, Noyes, and McKnight. Noes: None Absent: None
