HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1914-8-C RESOLUTION #8-C Original Resolution Missing Excerpt from minutes of Board of Trustees Meeting of Feb.24, 1914 The following Resolution was introduced and read: The Board of Trustees of the City of Chula Vista Resolve: That the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company is hereby authorized and directed to make the following named changes in the location of its lines of poles and wires in this City, to-wit: To move all of its wires on "E" Street from National Avenue to Third Avenue; all wires on Third Avenue from "F" Street to Madrona street, all wires on Second Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue, and all wires on First Avenue from "E" Street to "F" street, and all wires on Second Street from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue to the poles of the San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Company, in said streets ; And the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, and the San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Company of San Diego, and each of them is hereby authorized and directed to move all wires on Fourth Avenue from "C" Street to"E" Street; and on "E" Street from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue, and on Third Avenue from "E" Street to "F" Street and from Madrona Street to Fourth Street, to the poles of the San Diego and Southeastern Railway Company, in said streets; That in so doing, the lowest wire shall not be less than twenty (20) Feet from the top surface of the curb of the street; and the vacated poles shall be removed without unnecessary delay. On motion duly seconded, said Resolution was adopted, all voting aye.
