HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1912-01-I RESOLUTION #1-I Original Resolution Missing Excerpt from minutes of Board of Trustees Meeting of November 6, 1912 The following resolution was introduced: Be it resolved by the Board of Trustees that the Street Superintendent is hereby authorized, in his discretion, to rent the road grader belonging to the city to bona fide residents of this city, for the grading of public or private streets, roads, alleys or driveways in said city, whenever said grader is not needed for the use of the city, at the rental of $1.50 per day from the time said machine is taken from the possession of the Street Superintendent until its return to him. Said grader shall be rented only to persons who in his judgment are capable of properly using and operating the same, and whenever the Street Superintendent shall find that said grader is not being properly used or operated he shall immediately take possession of the same. Any person so renting and using said grader shall return the same in as good condition as when received, reasonable war and tear by proper use alone excepted. The resolution was adopted, all voting aye.
