Resolution accepting dedication of property
for street purposes.
WHEREAS, ROBERT J. SORENSON and VALERIE CHARLOTTE
SORENSON, 1iave' dedicated, released and quitclaimed unto the City
of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation, in the State of Califor-
nia, for street purposes the property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, after investigation and consideration by this
Council it appears that it would be for the public interests and
for the best interests of the City of Chula Vista, to accept
said offer of dedication and to put said real property to public
use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
That the offer of Robert J. Sorenson and Valerie Char-
lotte Sorenson to dedicate, release and quitclaim the hereinafter•
described real property to the City of Chula Vista for street
purposes, be and the same is hereby accepted and the Clerk of
said City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to have a
conveyance of said real property to the City of Chula Vista record-
ed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County.
The real property so dedicated, released and quitclaimed
to said City of Chula Vista and hereby accepted is described as
follows:
The northerly thirty feet ( 30' ) of westerly
one hundred sixteen feet ( 116' ) of the easterly
half of Lot Four ( 4) , quarter section One
Hundred Fifty ( 150) , according to Map thereof
No. 505, filed in the office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County March 13, 1888.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA, the 9th day of February,
1942, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Perkins, Burnside, Hove, Dupree.
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen None

February 9, 1942
RESOLUTION NO.630: Councilman Perkins offered Resolution
No. 330. This is a resolution accepting a portion of the
Sorenson property for street purposes. The resolution
was read in full and was passed, adopted and approved
by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes: Councilmen Perkins,
Burnside, Howe, Timmons, Dupree. Noes:None. Absent: None.
