BEING A RESOLUTIO DECLARING THE RESULT OF A SPECIAL ELECTION, HELD IN THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA, ON THE 15th DAY-OF JURE, 1926, SAID ELECTION HELD FOR
THE PURPOSE oP VOTING BONDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF'LANA FOR PARK PURPOSES AND FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF A SEWER SYSTEM.
wHEREAS, A Special Election was held and conducted in the City of Chula Vista,
California, on Tuesday,, the 15th day of June, 1926, as required by law,
AND WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally
given, that voting precincts were properly established, that election officers were
• appointed and election supplies furnished, and that in all respects, said election
was held and conducted, and the votes' cast thereat received and canvassed, and the
returns thereof made and declared in time, form and manner as required by the general
laws of the State governing el,ections ,in cities of the Fifth and Sixth Class,
AND 9MREAB, the Board of Trustees of the said City of Chula Vista, California,
met at the Council Chamber"of the said Board, on Mondayy, the• 21st day of June, 1926,
to canvass the returns of said,eleotion, as a result of which the Board finds that the
number of votes cast, and other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter stated,
now, therefore, ,
BE IT RESOLVED, as`foilows: That said election was held and conducted in
the City of Chula Vista, California, on Tuesday, the 15th day of June, 1926, in
time, form and manner as required by law; that there were two voting precincts estab-
lished for the purpose of holding said election, consisting of a consolidation of
the regular election precincts established for holding general State and County
elections, as follows: Consolidated Precinct "A", comprising State and County
general election precincts Nos. 1, 2 and 4, of Chula Vista; and Consolidated Pre-
cinct "B", comprising State and County general election precincts Nos: 3, 5 and 6,
of Chula Vista, which said consolidated precincts comprise the entire City of Chula
Vista; that the whole number of votes cast in said city, in the said two consolidated
precincts, at said election, was 423, via: At Consolidated Precinct "A", 210 votes,
and at Consolidated Precinct "B", 213 votes; that the propositions voted upon, the
number of votes given in•each precinct, and in the whole city, for and against the
same, are as follows:
Consolidated Precinct "A":
For issuing bonds to purchase certain lands for park purposes, to cost $36,000.00,
for the proposition, 63 votes. Against this proposition, 114 votes.
For issuing bonds to purchase certain lands for park purposes, to cost $7,500.00,
for this proposition, 118 votes. Against this proposition, 72 votes.
For issuing bonds for the installation of a sewer system, to cost $43,500.00,
for this proposition, 163 votes. Against this proposition, 42 votes.
Consolidated Precinct "B": •
For issuing bonds to purchase certain lands for park purposes, to cost $36,000.00,
for this proposition, 60 votes. Against this proposition, 137 votes.
For issuing bonds to pdrehase certain lands for park purposes, to cost $7,500.00,
for this proposition, 86 votes. Against this proposition, 110 votes,
For issuing bonds for the installation of a sewer system, to cost $43,500.00,
for this proposition, 'I;t votes. Again this proposition, 74 votes.
RESOLVED, THEREFORE, that as a result of said Special Election, for voting upon
said bonds, the following propositions were adopted:
Shall the City of Chula Vista, California, incur a bonded indebtedness of
$43,500.00 for the purpose of installing a sewer system in said city, for the col-
lection and carrying off of sewage in said city?
For the Bonds, 297 votes, cast in all precincts, comprising the entire city.
Again the Bonds, 116 votes, case in all precincts, comprising the entire city.
The clerk shall enter upon the records of the Board, a statement of the
result of the said election, showing: (1) The whole number of votes cast in said
city; (2) The propositions voted upon; (3) the number •of votes given for and against
each of the propositions.

Chula Vista, California, at a re_.e =_ ad ourn meeting of said Board, held
June 21, 1926, by the following vote, •to- wit:
MSS: Trustees Barnes, Peters, Lyons, Wentworth.
NOBS: Trustees! None.
ABSENT: Trustees Stott. ' .
