RESOLUTION NO. 107.
RESOLUTION GIVING PROPERTY OWNERS ABUTTING ON CERTAIN STREETS, A LIMITED TINE
IN WHICH TO PUT IN SIDEWALKS AND CURBS ON SAID STREETS, AT PRIVATE CONTRACT AND IF
NOT SO.DONE THEREAFTER, TO BE ORDERED IN BY LAW BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, of the City of Chula Vista,
California, as follows: That it .be and is hereby d etermined by this Board of
Trustees of said City of Chula Vista, that
Boths sides of Third Avenue, from E Street to K Street; the West side of Second •
Avenue from F Street to G Street; the North side 'of G Street from Second Avenue,
running Westerly a distance of approximately 290 feet; both sides of Roosevelt Street,
from Second Avenue to Third Avenue; both sides of H.. Street from Second Avenue
to Third Avenue; both sides of E Street from National Avenue to Third Avenue;
Both sides of Second Avenue, from E Street to F Street, be improved between
said points and along said streets so described by the construction of cement side-
walks and curbs thereon, in accordance with the specifications for such work, as
contained in Ordinance No. 108, of the Ordinances of said City.
The owners of property fronting upon said streets between said points
shall have until November 8, 1924, within which to construct sidewalks and curbs
thereon at prAvate contract;, that the City Engineer of said city be and is hereby
authorized and directed to give notice that said improvement has been decided
upon, and that property owners desiring to construct sidewalk and curb by private
contract must complete said work on or befor the said 8th day of November, 1924.
• Passed, adopted and approved by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Chula Vista, State of California, this 5th day of September, 1924, by the
following vote, to wit;
AYES: Trustees Shaw, Wentworth, Lyons, Bent, Peters.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
