RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING CONTRACT FOR SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSULTANT ON EASTLAKE/KAISER HOSPITAL PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, the EastLake Development Company has filed various applications
with the City of Chula Vista in conjunction with re-planning the EastLake Village
Center; and,
WHEREAS, these applications have been initiated as a result of the Kaiser
Medical Center which is proposed to be located within the north portion of the
Village Center; and,
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested the City's cooperation in adopting a
fast track process schedule and, accordingly, the Planning Department is in need
of highly qualified environmental consultant assistance to coordinate the
Environmental Impact Report required for the overall project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista does hereby approve a contract with Marilyn Ponseggi for environmental
services on Eastlake/Kaiser Hospital Project, known as document number C092-030,
a copy of which is on file on the office of the City Clerk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Chula Vista is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City.
