RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH EASTLAKE DEVELOPMENT
COMPANY REGARDING THE INTERIM FIRE STATION IN EASTLAKE
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, this Agreement provides for an interim Fire Station #6 the costs
of which are to be advanced by EastLake and reimbursed from the DIF, and provides
that the Interim Fire Station is to be constructed and equipped by Eastlake
Development Company on Lane Avenue in the Eastlake Business Center; and,
WHEREAS, this agreement preserves and clarifies the intent of the existing
Eastlake-I SPA Agreement, Part III: Public Facilities Financing Plan, and, will
provide an appropriate level of fire protection services in eastern Chula Vista;
and,
WHEREAS, the target date for opening interim Fire Station #6 is June 6,
1992.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista does hereby approve the "Agreement For an Interim and Permanent Fire
Station in EastLake", with EastLake Development Company regarding the interim
fire station in EastLake, known as document number C092-024, a copy of which is
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Chula Vista is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City
of Chula Vista.
