RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
RESERVE OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR INSTALLATION OF A WATER
METER AT THE TREE FARM AT 1-805 AND EAST "H" STREET
WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of January 14, 1992, Council directed
the City Manager to modify an agreement with Frank Furriery to provide that in
exchange for a donation of 500 trees and voluntary future donations of trees, the
City would permit Mr. Furriery to operate a tree farm on excess City property;
and
WHEREAS, a clause in the Agreement provides that the City will cause the
installation of a 2" water meter and it is necessary to appropriate funds
therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista does hereby appropriate $10,000 from the unappropriated reserve of the
General Fund into the Public Works Department Street Tree activity for
