RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ESTABLISHING AN ALL-WAY STOP AT CANYON DRIVE AND COUNTRY
VISTAS LANE
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as
follows:
WHEREAS, staff has received requests from area residents to reduce
vehicular speed on Canyon Drive and Country Vistas Lane, and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending the installation of two stop signs for
Country Vistas Lane due to the volume split, roadway geometrics and high
percentage of turning movement counts.
WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 10, 1990, the Safety Commission voted 6-0
to accept staff's recommendations and 5-1 to modify item 4 to a double
centerline stripe.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista does hereby establish an all-way stop at Canyon Drive and Country Vistas
Lane.
