HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1990-15613 NOT APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 15613 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DENYING REZONING OF 12.22 ACRES FROM COUNTY M-52 TO CITY C-C-P - PACIFIC SCENE The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as fol 1 ows: WHEREAS, the Montgomery Specific Plan calls for the land use designation of 12.22 acres of land located on the southerly side of Palomar Street between Broadway and Industrial Boulevard as Research and Limited Industrial, and WHEREAS, the proposed rezoning to Central Commercial/Precise Plan is inconsistent with the Specific Plan and should, therefore, be denied, and WHEREAS, at its January 31, 1990 meeting, the Montgomery Planning Committee voted 4-3 to deny the rezoning from M-52 to C-C-P, and WHEREAS, on February 28, 1990, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to deny the rezoning from M-52 to C-C-P. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby deny the rezoning of 12.22 acres from County M-52 to City C -C -P.
