RECOMMENDATION: Approve resolution for parking agreement.

DISCUSSION:
Applicant proposes to develop a lot on Broadway with a commercial structure
and is required to provide parking in accordance with City standards. The
applicant's lot is insufficient in size to accommodate the proposed use and
the required parking. The applicant is proposing a long-term lease on an
adjacent lot to meet the City parking requirements.
The Zoning Ordinance provides that off-street parking requirements may be met
by providing the spaces on other properties located within 200 feet of the
subject property subject to the approval of a binding agreement.
The applicant has secured a long-term parking (50 year) lease on the lot
immediately adjacent to the east, the City Attorney has reviewed the agreement
and is satisfied that it complies with the Zoning Ordnance's intent.
