The contract was executed on February 29, 1984. This work is now complete. RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt resolution accepting contract work for the resurfacing of Eucalyptus Park and Southwestern College tennis courts. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: Tennis and Track Builders USA have completed the resurfacing of the tennis courts in Eucalyptus Park and Southwestern College. This work was completed on March 23, 1984. A final inspection was made by Engineering personnel and by Parks and Recreation Department. Phil Barker of Parks and Recreation by his letter of April 3, 1984, states that the tennis courts were found to be satisfactory and complete. All work has been performed in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and Director of Parks and Recreation. FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Authorized Expenditure $9,800.00 Contract Amount 7,800.00 Contingencies 800.00 Engineering and Inspection 1 ,200.00 Total $9,800.00 Actual Construction Cost $7,800.00 Engineering and Inspection Cost as of March 29, 1984 is $358.09 times full cost recovery factor of 2.238 - $801 .40. 801 .40 TOTAL PROJECT COST $8,601 .40 FISCAL IMPACT: City will maintain the tennis courts.
