HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1950-1088 E+• 4 } M • 4 RESOLUTION.-NO. 1088 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK OF CONTRACTOR IN :THE CONSTRUCTION OF J STREET SEWER JOB #2, A SANITARY SEWER FOR THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF A ' NOTICE OF COMPLETION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA 'VISTA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City of Chula Vista, acting by and through the City Council, does hereby accept as completed the work of the contractor, CHARLES J. DORFMAN, performed under that certain agreement, dated December 2nd, 19!9, by and between said CHARLES J. DORFMAN and the CITY OF CHULA VISTA, for the constructing and erecting complete and ready for use sanitary sewers in "J" Street `according to the plans and speci- fications prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Chula Vista. SECTION 2. That LORENZ C. KOESTER, Mayor of the City of Chula Vista, and HERBERT V. BRYANT, City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista, be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute and cause to be recorded forthwith that certain NOTICE OF COMPLETION, dated January 24th, 1950, a copy of which is attached hereto, and by this reference made a part of this Resolution. City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista, California. • -2- e ti y , z 7 k NOTICE OF COMPLETION NOTICE I3 HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation, whose address is City Hall, 294 Third Avenue, Chula Vista, California is the owner of certain real property situated in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, California, described as follows, to-wit: A certain public street known as "J" Street, located in 1/4 Sections 164 and 147, according to the chap thereof Number 505 on file in the County Recorder's Office of San Diego County. That as such owner the undersigned, about the 2nd day of December, 1949, entered into a contract with CHARLES J. DORFMAN as contractor, for the erection and construction on said land of certain improvements, t©-wit: Sanitary Sewers over, along and across portions of the above public street. That said improvements have been duly constructed, and the same was actually completed on the 23rd day of January, 1950. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 11$7 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California, Dated this 24th day of January, 1950.
