RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITY OF STAN DIEGO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That certain agreement between the City of Chula Vista
and The City of San Diego, dated July 1st, 1919, a copy of
which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein, be and the same is hereby appamved, and that LORENZ
C. KOESTER, Mayor of the City of Chula Vista, be and he is
hereby authorized to sign the same for and on behalf of the
City of Chula Vista.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /°' day
of '- - ��" , 1949, by and between THE CITY OF SAN
DIEGO, a municipal corporation in the County of San Diego,
State of California, hereinafter designated as The City of
San Diego, and the CITY OF CHUTA VISTA, a municipal corpora-
tion in the same county, hereinafter called the City of Chula
Vista, WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, The City of San Diego owns and operates a radio
station designated as RNA 363, and a repeater station at Lyons
Peak, in said San Diego County, for the purpose of aiding and
assisting in fire, police and health protection of the inhabi-
tants of The City of San Diego; and in connection with said
radio station owns and operates a radio shop and repair facili-
ties; and
WHEREAS, the said City of Chula Vista is desirous of
utilizing said radio station of said City of San Diego for the
furnishing of police, fire and health facilities to the inhabi-
tants of said City of Chula Vista; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the best interests of not only the
people of the City of Chula Vista to so be permitted to use
said radio facilities, but also to the people of The City of
San Diego in its enforcement of police, fire and health protec-
tion,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the terms and condi-
tions herein set forth The City of San Diego agrees as follows:
(1) The City agrees and consents In the use by the City
of Chula Vista, through remote control, of Radio Station
KMA 363 in San Diego, and the repeater station at Lyons Peak,
in San Diego County, subject to the continued permission of
the United States Forest Service as to said repeater station
at Lyons Peak.

(2) The City agrees to furnish such power as may be required
for the operation of said Radio Station KMA 363, and the repeater
station at Lyons Peak.
(3) The City agrees to furnish all labor,_ parts and materials
necessary to service, maintain and keep in repair all of the radio
equipment belonging to the said City of Chula. Vista, and, including
all fixed and mobile equipment and the Lyons Peak repeater station.
The City of Chula Vista agrees as follows:
(1) To provide one metallic telephone circuit from said City
to the fire alarm building in ,Balboa Park, San Diego, and to make
all radio equipment belong to said City of Chula Vista reasonably
available at stated intervals for any desired routine service
work necessary in the enforcement of police, fire and health pro-
tection to the inhabitants of both cities,
(2) In compensation for the use of said radio facilities of
The City of San Diego, the said City of Chula Vista agrees to pay
to The City of San Diego on or before the first day of each month
during the life of this agreement the of SEVENTY NINE AND
50/100 DOLLARS ($79,50) .
This agreement shall become effective July 1, 1949, and shall
remain in effect until June 30, 1950, unless either party hereto
cancels the same by giving written notice to the other at least
sixty (60) days in advance of the effective date of suchcancella-
tion.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The City of San Diego has caused this
agreement to be executed by its City Manager, thereunto duly
authorized, and the City of Chula Vista has caused this agreement
