HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1949-1059 f. .. �. RESOLUTION NO. 1059 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA CONCERNING THE RETIREMENT OF JUDGE MURRAY M. CAMPBELL Whereas Judge Murray M. Campbell, has served the City of Chula Vista, faithfully and well as Judge of the City Court and in other official positions for many years; and Whereas the said Judge Murray M. Campbell has attained the age of seventy years and merits honorable retirement by virtue of the Employees Retirement Ordinance of the City of Chula Vista; and Whereas the City Council of the City of Chula Vista feels that the services, training, experience, unquestioned loyalty, honesty and fairness of the said Judge Murray M. Campbell will be missed greatly by the City of Chula Vista and by the citizens thereof; NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED as follows: That the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, for and on behalf of the City of Chula Vista, does hereby publicly acknowledge the long and faithful service of Judge Murray M. Campbell and congratulate him upon his honorable retirement from the service of the said City. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of August, 1949.
