RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA SEL-
ECTING A SYSTEM OF MAJOR CITY •
STREETS, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 2,
DIVISION 3 OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, DOES HERE-
BY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of ,the City of Chula
Vista does hereby select the following streets in the City
of Chula Vista as the system of major city streets for the
City of Chula Vista, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter
2, Division 3 of ,the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California:
"E" STREET, from Bay Boulevard to First Street.
BONITA STREET, from First Avenue to east city limits.
t?F?? STREET, from National Avenue to First Street.
?tG" STREET, from Bay Boulevard to east city limits.
"H" STREET, from Bay Boulevard to First Street.
"J" STREET, from National Avenue to east city limits.
"K" STREET, from National Avenue to First Avenue.
??Lt? STREET; from Bay Boulevard to Third Avenue.
HILLTOP DRIVE, from t?J?? Street to Telegraph Canyon Road.
FIRST AVENUE, from Country Club Drive to north city limits.
SECOND AVENUE; from ?KT?' Street to north city limits.
THIRD AVENUE, from south city limits to north city limits.
FOURTH AVENUE, from ??J?? Street to north city limits.
SECTION 2: That the selection of the system of major city
streets above provided for is made on the basis of greatest

general city importance, and shall be subject to the
approval of the Department of Public Works of the State
of California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 8th day of Feb-
ruary, 1949. /

ution was duly adopted by the City Council of the said City
and was approved by the Mayor of said City at a regular meet-
ing of said Council held on the 8th day of February, 1949, and
that it was so adopted by the following votes: -
AYES: Councilmen Koester, Riesland, Nashold, Dyson
' and Kidder.
NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen None.
