RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING, DEDICATING AND NAMING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN
SAID CITY FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES LOCATED BETWEEN
ORANGE DRIVE AND WALNUT DRIVE
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as
follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Chula Vista that that certain grant of real property, made by Grant of
Easements, executed by T. W. Gentry, Inc. dated the 12th day of December,
1989, a copy of which is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof,
the same as though fully set forth herein be, and the same is hereby accepted
and dedicated to the public use for street and highway purposes by the City of
Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property is hereby officially
named "ORANGE DRIVE" and "WALNUT DRIVE".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula
Vista be, and she is hereby authorized to record said grant deed in the office
of the San Diego County Recorder.

do(es) hereby grant, convey and dedicate to the CITY OF CHULAVISTA,
State Of California, the right of way and incidents thereto for a public
street upon, over and across that certain real property in the City of
Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, described as
follows:

The Grantor hereby further grants to the City of Chula Vista the privileg
and right to extend drainage structures and excavation and embankment slo
beyond the limits of the herein described right-of-way where require""or
the construction and maintenance of said public street. RESERVING u~
grantor of the above described parcel of land, his successors or assigns·
the right to eliminate such slopes and/or drainage structures or portions
thereof, when in the written opinion of the City Engineer Of Grantee, the
necessity therefore is removed by substituting other protection, support
and/or drainage facility· provided such substitution is first approved in
writing by said City Engineer.
The Grantor hereby further grants to Grantee all trees· growths (growing
or that may hereafter grow), and road building materials within said
right-of-way, including the right to take water, together with the right
to use the same in such manner and at such locations as said Grantee may
deem proper, needful or necessary· in the construction, reconstruction·
improvement or maintenance of said public street.
The Grantor, for himself, his successors and assigns, hereby waives any
claim for any and all damages to Grantor's remaining property contiguous
to the right-of-way hereby conveyed by reason of the location· constr~cti<
landscaping or maintenance of said public street.

Di~go, State of California, according to the Map thereof No. 1271, filed in the
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, June 30, 1910, lying Easterly
of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said Lot 28, distant thereon N.3°41'46"W.
(Map S.4°05'E.), 7.26 feet from the Southeasterly corner thereof; thence N.27°19'46"W.,
33.69 feet; thence N.18°15'26"W., 14.70 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve,
concave Easterly, having a radius of 178.00 feet; thence Northerly along said curve
through a centrail angle of 21°36'00'', a distance of 67.10 feet; thence tangent to
said curve N.3°20'34"E., 42.06 feet to a point on the Southerly line of the Northerly
100 feet of said Lot 28.

Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Northerly 100 feet of said Lot 23; thence
along the Southerly line thereof S.75°33'33"E., 12.92 feet; thence leaving said
Southerly line S.18°22'29"W., 14.17 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
NorthWeSterly, having a radius of 228.06 feet;'thenCe Southwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 33°44'23'', a distance of 134.26 feet to an intersection
with the Northwesterly extension of the Northerly line of Lot 26 of said Woodlawn
Park; thence Northwesterly along said extension N.74°54'lO"W. (Map S.76°07'E.),
22.01 feet to the Northwesterly line of said Lot 23; thence along said Northwesterly
