RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM T. W. GENTRY, INC. FOR
STREET TREE PURPOSES
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as
follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Chula Vista that that certain grant of easement for street tree purposes
executed by T. W. Gentry, Inc. dated the 5th day of January, 1990, a copy of
which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof as though
fully set forth herein, be and the same is hereby accepted by the City of
Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula
Vista be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to record said easement in
the office of the San Diego County Recorder.

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the undersigned do/does hereby grant to the City of
Chula Vista, in the County of San Diego, State of California, an
easement and right of way for, and the right to plant, maintain,
replace or remove trees in, upon, over and across that certain
real property situated in the City of Chula Vista, County of San
Diego, State of California, and more particularly described as follows:

together with the right to enter upon and to pass and repass over and
along said easement and right of way and to deposit tools, implements
and other materials thereon by said City of Chula Vista, its officers,
agents and employees and by any contractor, his agents and employees
engaged by said City, whenever and wherever necessary for the purposes
above set forth:

PARCEL I (Orange Drive)
That portion of Lot 28 of Woodlawn Park, in the City of Chula Vlsta, County of
San Disgo, State of California, according to the Map thereof No. 1271, filed in
the office of the County Recorder of San Dlego County June 30, 1910, being 5.50
feet in width, lying Westerly and adjoining to the following described line:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 28; thence~N. 3°41'46'' W.,
(Map S. 4°05' E.), 7.26 feet; thence N. 27°19'46n W., 33.69 feet; thence
N. 18°15'26'' W., 14.70 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Easterly,
having a radius of 178.00 feet; thence Northerly along said curve through
central angle of 21°36'00'', a distance of 67.10 feet; thence tangent to said
curve N. 3°20'34'' E., 42.06 feet to a point on the Southerly line of the Northerly
100 feet of said Lot 28.
The side llnes of said easement to be prolongseed or shortened so as to beglns
at the Southerly line of said Lot 28 and terminates at the Southerly line of
Northerly 100 feet of said Lot 28.

Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of Northerly 100 feet of said Lot 2

thence S. g~22'~9" W., 14.17 feet to the beginning of a taugent curve, concave
Norbtwesterly, having a radius of 228.00 feet; thence Southwesterly along said
curve through a central ~ngte of 33°44'23'', ~ d~stance of 134.26 feet to an
Intersection with the Northwesterly extension of the Northerly llne of Lot 26 of
sald Woodlawn Park.
The side lines of said easement to be prolongstud or shortened so as to begins at
the Southerly line of said Northerly 100 feet and terminated at sald Northwesterly
extension line.
