RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING
NOTICEFOR BIDS ON SALE OF CITY HALL
AND DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That certain document, .entitled "Notice for Bids on
Sale of Real ¢roperty by the City of Chula Vista" dated
March 14th, 1950, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein, be and the same is hereby approved, and
that Herbert V. Bryant be, and he is hereby, directed to cause
the same to be published forthwith in the Chula Vista Star.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 14th day of March, 1950.

NOTICE FOR BIDS ON SALE
OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Chula Vista will sell to the highest
bidder, for cash, upon the terms and conditions herein mentioned, that certain
piece or parcel of real property and the improvements thereon commonly known as
the City Hall, 294 Third Avenue, Chula Vista, California, and more particularly
described as follows:
Lot 14 of Block E of Mohnikes Subdivision in the
City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State
of California, according to the Map thereof No.
1284, filed in the Office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County on September 12, 1910.
Sealed Bids or offers in writing are invited for said real property, and will
be received at the Office of the Administrative Officer of the City of Chula Vista,
City Hall, Chula Vista, California, at any time before 7:00 o'clock P.M. , April
12, 1950.
The terms and conditions of the sale are Twenty-five per cent (25%) of the
sale price cash, payable ten (10) days after acceptance of bid in lawful money of
the United States and the balance payable upon surrender of possession to buyer
in lawful money of the United States, such balance to be evidenced by a note, bear-
ing no interest and secured by a first trust deed of trust on said premises. The
City shall retain the right to exclusive possession and occupancy of said premises
until completion of a new City Hall, but in no event for more than one year follow-
ing the acceptance of a bid. Seller will furnish title insurance and pay the usual
title expenses; insurance to be prorated as of date of sale.
The minimum sale and bid price for said real property shall be FORTY-FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($45,000.00).
The City of Chula Vista reserves the right to reject any and all bids or
waive any informality in a bid and to withdraw this offer at any time before the
acceptance of a bid.
