RESOLUTION NO. . 1284
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA ESTABLISHING A
"THROUGH" HIGHWAY OR BOULEVARD IN THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the authority granted by the
Vehicle Code of the State of California and the provisions of
Ordinance 404 of the City of Chula Vista, the"-following public
street and highway in the City bf 'Chula Vista is hereby designated
a "through" highway or boulevard:
(a) First Avenue from the Northerly curb line of "E"
Street to the Northerly curb line of "J" Street.
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works shall cause
boulevard stop signs to be erected as required by 'the vehicle
Code of the State of California and by Ordinance 303 of the City
of Chula Vista and when such signs. are erectted *br{dinance No.
303 shall be applicable to the".throizgh7, highways or boulevards

designated herein. ,
SECTION, 3. Any prior, resglutiorr of. the`FCity Council of the
City of Chula, Vista ,in conflict herewith is' superceded and amended
by this Resolution. •
SECTION 4. The City '.Clerk is hereby directed forthwith to
make note of the passage' ot this resolution in the Ordinance Book
of the City of Chula Vista in the margin of the page on which
Ordinance No. 303 is set out
