This is a continuation of the proceedings for Assessment District 85-2 which
is providing a part of the water, sewer, and street improvements in the
EASTLAKE development.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolutions.
BOARD/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not Applicable.
DISCUSSION:
Assessment District 85-2 is providing a portion of the water, sewer, and
street improvements necessary for the EASTLAKE Development.
Previous actions by the Council have authorized construction of the reservoir
and pump station. The plans and specifications for the remainder of the
work are now completed and ready for bidding.
The balance of the work consists of the water transmission line from the
reservoir, the on-site water and sewer lines in the EASTLAKE Unit 1 , and
the construction of a portion of Otay Lakes Road. The Engineers Report has
been amended to include these facilities with updated cost estimates,
assessment roll and assessment diagram.

The Tuesday, May 13, 1986, Council meeting is being designated for the
Public Hearing on this matter. It is proposed that Council action calling for
bids on bonds will be presented at the regular meeting on April 22, 1986.
Summary of Council Actions
1 . Preliminary approval of the "Engineer's Amended Report" and setting the
Public Hearing on Assessment District 85-2 on May 13, 1986.
2. Authorized bidding on the balance of the works of improvement for
Assessment District 85-2.
FISCAL IMPACT: There will be no cost to the City. The Assessment
District provides for all funding necessary to construct the improvements.
