RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution. BOARDS & COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: N/A DISCUSSION: The establishment of a maintenance of district thecassessment "1972 Act" for maintaining landscaped the annual consideration by Council landscaped medians, streets and supplemental lighting to benefiting property owners. This district was provided for in the Public Facilities Finance Plan and was a condition of the EastLake Project. Supplemental lighting is for lighting levels or special lighting fixtures that cost over what we are requiring in new subdivisions. So far, in the current subdivision, we haven't experienced supplemental lighting. s the If Council approves the formation of the Maintenance Dos trict0and against the assessments proposed, there will be an assessment Eastlake properties. This assessment 1987 costs year (July nleS 1986 f the estimated maintenance will be for the June 30, 1987). Subsequent years assessments will be based on the necessary annual maintenance. SUMMARY OF COUNCIL ACTIONS: Through the adoption of the above Resolution, the Council will have generally accomplished the following: 1. Approve the final Engineer' s "Report" 2. Confirm the formation of the Maintenance aDnd/ori t andi ordered ime the annual levy of assessments for the maintenance in Eastlake. FISCAL IMPACT: None to the City. All costs of the Maintenance District, F assessments. including administration, will be paid by WPC 1833E �.
