Home My WebLink AboutReso 1990-15967 RESOLUTION NO. 15967 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE FINAL MAP FOR CHULA VISTA TRACT 89-14 AND QUITCLAIM DEEDS ASSOCIATED WITH A BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, on December 17, 1989, by Resolution No. 15414, the City Council approved the Tentative Subdivision Map for Chula Vista Tract 89-14; and WHEREAS, the approved Tentative Map for the project depicted a lot line adjustment between the parcel being developed and City-owned open space; and WHEREAS, this adjustment between the lots has been reviewed by the Parks and Recreation Department and is acceptable to them; and WHEREAS, the overall adjustment between the City open space and the development will result in an increase in the open space lot size and the adjustment was done on the map to allow the final lot configurations to be shown on a recorded document; and WHEREAS, since the City is signing as an owner on the map and the map does not distinguish which land is owned by each party, quitclaim deeds need to be executed so that ownership of the individual lots can be recorded; and WHEREAS, the City will quitclaim interest in the lot owned by Brehm (Lots 1-13) and Brehm will quitclaim interest in the City open space lots (Lots A, B, C & D) both as shown on the final map. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute the final map for Chula Vista Tract 89-14 and quitclaim deeds associated with a boundary adjustment on behalf of the City.
