HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Statement 1985/11/19 Item 8 COUNCIL AGENDA STATEMENT Item 8 Meeting Date 11/19/85 ITEM TITLE: Resolution /5/A513 Approving the Final Map and Subdivision Improvement Agreement for Chula Vista Tract 82-3, Star Orange - Unit No. 1 SUBMITTED BY: Director of Public Works/City Engineer REVIEWED BY: City Manager, (4/5ths Vote: Yes No X ) On December 9, 1981 , by Resolution No. 10698, the City Council approved the Tentative Map for Chula Vista Tract 82-3, Star Orange - Unit 1 Subdivision. The Final Map for Unit 1 is now before the Council for approval . RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt the resolution as stated in the title hereto. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: The Final Map for Chula Vista Tract 82-3, Star Orange, Unit 1 has been checked and found to be in general conformance with the Tentative Map. Chula Vista Tract 82-3 consists of 4 residential lots on 4.925 acres of land. There are 55 condominium units for this project. There are no open space lots on this unit. Approval of the Final Map includes the acceptance of a street tree planting and mintenance easements along sewers,O,andrainage , and access also to includes sewe s and acceppt drainage facilities. Access to the subdivision is provided by two private streets. The developer has executed the Subdivision Improvement Agreement. Appropriate surety has been posted for all public improvements. The developer has paid all fees, executed the required documents and complied with all the conditions of approval applicable to Unit 1 and has also granted off-site sewer and drainage easements to Oleander Avenue to connect to existing facilities there. The 11-foot storm drain from Unit 1 thru Unit 2 and Unit 3 is also being extended to an inlet structure at the easterly boundary of Unit 3. A unilateral agreement to hold the City harmless against all liability for claims resulting from any flooding of the upstream property adjacent to Star Orange, Unit 1 has also been prepared and executed by the developer.
