DISCUSSION: A final inspection was made on October 7, 1985, of the pavement overlay by Daley Corporation and all work was found to be in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. The work has been completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. FISCAL IMPACT: $81 ,300.00 Authorized Expenditure $73,810,00 Original Contract Amount 78,565.65 Final Construction Cost Balance of Authorized Expenditure $ 2,734.35 The final construction cost was $78,565.65 e,5to.the was crease5in6 over the contract concrete amount, or 6.3%. The overage pavement tonnage used to accomplish the work as proposed in the contract specifications. Payment is based upon unit price per ton rather than lump sum.
