RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF
COMPUTER TAPE DRIVES AND DATA LINK PROCESSOR
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as
follows:
WHEREAS, the following four bids were received and opened at ll:O0 a.m.
on the 29th d~ of October, 1990, in the office of the Purchasing Agent of the
City of Chula Vista for purchase of two computer tape drives and one data link
processor to be used with the new Unisys V430 mainframe:

WHEREAS, the equipment bid by Peripheral Remarketing Incorporated meets
pecifications and is acceptable to the Data Processing Manager; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said contract, known as document
number C090-257, be awarded to Peripheral Remarketing Incorporated who has
assured the City that they are a licensed vendor in the State of California
and can produce an acceptable performance bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista does hereby accept said four bids, and does hereby award the contract
for said computer tape drives and data link processor to Peripheral
Remarketing Corporation in the amount of $30,030.00 to be completed in
accordance with the specifications as approved by the Purchasing Agent of the
City of Chula Vista.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Agent of the City of Chula
Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract
for and on behalf of the City of Chula Vista.
