RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR MEMORIAL PARK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PHASE I AND APPROPRIATING $60,000
THEREFOR
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as
follows:
WHEREAS, at the April 24, 1990 meeting, Council awarded the contract for
"Construction of Phase One Improvements at Memorial Park."; and
WHEREAS, Phase I construction began on May 14, 1990; and
WHEREAS, a change order is proposed to construct stairways and cheek
walls at the ends of the amphitheatre at a cost for this change order of
$60,000; and
WHEREAS, this change order may delay the completion of the Phase I
improvements by seven to ten working days, extending the completion date to
mid-December.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista does hereby approve Change Order No. 2, known as document number
C090-245, for the Memorial Park Improvement Project Phase I construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista
does hereby appropriate $60,000 from the unappropriated balance of the
Residential Construction Tax (RCT).
