ITEM TITLE: Resolution /g/2.7 Approving the Application for Funds Under
the California Senior Citizen Bond Act of 1984 for Norman Park
Senior Center Renovation

The Senior Citizen Bond Act of 1984 authorizes the State to issue and sell
general obligation bonds in the aggregate amount of $50 million. Funds
derived will be used by the California Department of Aging to make awards to
public or private non-profit agencies to acquire, renovate, construct and
purchase equipment for senior centers, or funding start-up costs of progr ,
or expansion of senior center programs. A resolutiooa hofizi gw application be used

FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of the grant request requires 15% march matching funds,
or $14,303. This will be obtained from funds approved by
Park Center renovation in the FY 1985-86 CIP.
