RECOMMENDATION: That Council accept bids and award contracts to the
following low bidders:
Cal/Scape for District Nos. 4, 5, 9, and 11
Helping
Hands Landscape Co. for District Nos. 2, 3, 7, and 8
Sensational Creations Landscape Co. for District Nos. 1, 6, and 10
BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.

Cal/Scape has the successful low bid for Districts 4, 5, 9 and 11, with a
total bid of $67,280. Cal/Scape currently holds a maintenance contract with
the City of Chula Vista for District No. 5, and during FY 1983-84 maintained
District Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 9.

Creations Landscape Company has performed mainly in the private sector and
currently maintains several condominium projects in San Diego.
Positive references were received on all three companies.
