BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: On May 14, 1985, the City Council approved a report for relandscaping the north side of Telegraph Canyon Road west of Nacion Avenue. The proposal included the recon- struction of the irrigation system and reinstallation of the plant materials pre- viously planted on the project with addition of some tree form. It is also recom- mended that City forces, labor and equipment, be used for the demolition of the pave- ment to be removed and the new installation. The materials cost estimate was $27,000. Because the project has been under study and delayed for some time, we are recommend- ing a special appropriation rather than wait for next year's Capital Improvment Program. FISCAL IMPACT: $27,000 from the General Fund Reserve.
