The Personnel Department wishes to conserve space through the destruction of
unneeded records.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Council approve the attached Resolution authorizing destruction of records.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
The destruction of the attached list of files is desirable to conserve storage
space and reduce staff time. Personnel has reviewed these records and notes
they are no longer needed. In summary the records in question. are:
Applications and work folders for 200 examinations conducted
for the period 1976 through 1979.
Leave Requests for the period 12/77 through 5/81.
Vacation/Sick Summary computer reports for the period 12/77
through 12/80.
