Home My WebLink AboutReso 1952-1292 NO • RESOLUTION NO. 1292 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY , OF CHULA VISTA ADOPTING USE TAX RULE ONE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF -CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: The following rule is hereby adopted as `RUL8 QNE` of the Use Tax Ruled. and Regulations of the ;C' ty of Chula Vista: RULE NO. ONE COLLECTION AND 'PAYMENT, OF 11-SE TAXES (a) Whenever;a retailer is required- to collect the use tax imposed by Ordinance4\1o. . 439 he shall do so by using the follow- ing schedule. which combines the.,,Cal fornia Sales or Use ,Tax with the City use tax in such a manner as to produce an average tax return of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) on all, pur- • chases subject to the City , use tax: (See Schedule Attached) (b) The retailer shall segregate the City use tax so collected and shall report and remit tit to the City at *the times specified in said Ordinance No. 439.
