The Gersten Companies has completed the construction of the public
improvements for El Rancho Del Rey, Unit 6B. The Improvement Agreement was
approved by City Council Resolution 11248 on May 24, 1983.
RECOIR€NDATION: That Council approve resolution accepting the public
improvements.
DISCUSSION:
The Gersten Companies has requested acceptance of the public improvements for
El Ranch Del Rey, Unit 6B. A final inspection was held on March 13, 1984. A
letter of deficiencies was prepared and mailed on March 21 , 1984.
The deficiencies have now been corrected and completed. A review inspection
was made on April 18, 1985, and all work was found to be completed in
accordance to the plans and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
The Gersten Companies has deposited a maintenance bond in the amount of
$42,000 to guarantee the public improvements as to workmanship and material
for a period of one year after date of acceptance by the City Council .
FISCAL IMPACT: The City will assume maintenance of the public improvements
when accepted.
