SUBMI'1'1!U BY: City Attorn (4/5ths Vote: Yes No X )
This ordinance will extend for an additional two months the current interim
procedure for dealing with Design Review.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt ordinance on First Reading.
BOARDS/COMr1IISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: N/A
DISCUSSION:
The Planning Department has come up with a list of potential candidates to
serve on the Design Review Committee when it is reestablished under the City
Council. It is our expectation that the Council will approve the appointment
of the new members to the Design Review Committee within the next two months.
For this reason, we would recommend that the present arrangement be continued
for this two month period after which time the Design Review Committee will
again function as it did prior to the recent election which required the
members to be City residents.
FISCAL IMPACT: N/A
