They have requested acceptance of these public improvements. RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt resolution accepting public improvements. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: On March 2, 1981 , the City Council by Resolution 10416 approved the improvement agreement for Hidden Vista Subdivision (referred to now as Terra Nova). The original agreement provided for the construction of public improvements in Phases 1 through 8. The schedule of the phasing called for the completion of all public improvements within a five-year period. McMillin Development Co. assumed management responsibility for development of Hidden Vista Subdivision in early spring of 1983. Construction of these public improvements proceeded well in advance of the stage construction originally proposed. On August 16, 1983, by Resolution 11346, the City Council accepted the public improvements for Phase 1 and by Resolution 11345, the southerly 30-foot portion of East "H" Street. On October 8, 1984, by Resolution 11780, the City Council approved an amendment to the Subdivision Improvement Agreement which accepted new bonding for work remaining to be performed and authorized release of the original bonding for the subdivision. On December 11 , 1984, by Resolution 11867, the City Council accepted the public improvements for East "H" Street within the Hidden Vista Subdivision. McMillin has now posted all subsequent bonds and has completed all the requirements for the public improvements for Lots 1 through 295 and requests acceptance of these improvements. A final inspection was made on December 18, and all work was been found to be completed in accordance with the improvement agreements and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. Page 2, Item 1 Meeting Date 1/3'/85 Public improvement work remaining to be accepted are on Beacon Place and Dawn Court and a portion of Ridgeback Road westerly from Beacon Place. These improvements are covered under separate bonding and we will request acceptance of these improvements at a later date.
