ITEM TITLE: Resolution/ -5 / Maintenance Service Contract with McGee
Maintenance at Lauderbach Community Center on a month-to-month
basis

The existing custodial maintenance contract at Lauderbach Community Center
with McGee Maintenance expired on June 30, 1986. A new agreement with McGee
Maintenance was negotiated and will cost $675 a month.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve a month-to-month agreement with McGee
Maintenance until the department solicits Request for Proposal from other
custodial service companies.
BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
The City contracted for custodial maintenance service at the Lauderbach
Community Center upon assuming ownership as the result of the Montgomery
annexation. McGee Maintenance was the contracted former operator.ebalance of FY 1986 to

3. Do necessary dusting
4. Vacuum all carpet areas
5. Dustmop all tile areas
6. Wetmop all tile areas
7. Clean and sanitize all restrooms
8. Clean windows (weekly)

The level of service performed by the contractor has been most satisfactory.
In addition to the aforementioned duties, the contractor cleans the facility
after every special rental . The renter is assessed this cost.

FISCAL IMPACT: To continue the 3 days per week level of service on a

month. Funds available from salary savings will be sufficient for this
