HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Statement 1986/09/16 Item 8 COUNCIL AGENDA STATEMENT Item 8 Meeting Date 9-16-86 ITEM TITLE: Resolution /Ar1 a13 - Establishing the compensation and fringe benefit plan for unrepresented/unclassified employees for FY 1986-87 SUBMITTED BY: City Manager (4/5ths Vote: Yes Nox ) This resolution establishes the compensation and fringe benefit plan for the following unclassified/unrepresented positions for FY 1986-87: Position Salary Increase Personnel Analyst 7.5% Secretary to the City Attorney 10% Secretary to the Mayor/City Council Secretary to the City Manager 12% Secretary to the Redevelopment Agency 7,5% Deputy City Clerk 7.5% RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: N.A. (I DISCUSSION It is also recommended that the market basket for the Personnel Analyst positions be $2,330, an amount equivalent to the Chula Vista Employees Association MOU for 1986-87. It is further recommended that the market basket for the Secretary to the City Attorney, Secretary to the Mayor, Secretary to the City Manager, Secretary to the Redevelopment Agency, and Deputy City Clerk be increased to $2,650 and that the Life Insurance Policy for all unrepresented employers be increased from $3,000 to $1Q,000. All benefit increases will be retroactive 'to the first pay period in July 1986 (July 4, 1986) .
