Prior to his retirement, the Director of Building and Housing inspected the work and found it to be satisfactory with the exception of a short list of deficiencies. The company has since corrected all of these deficiencies. RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt the resolution accepting the remodeled Management Services' offices in City Hall . BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not Applicable DISCUSSION: Work on the remodeling project commenced on March 31 , 1986. The project completion date was June 25, 1986, when staff moved into the new offices. An inspection of the work was extremely satisfied with the work and aade � all of the prepared. Overall , staff listed deficiencies have been corrected. Completion of the remodeling project was delayed a total of 32 working days. This delay principally resulted from undertaking a reassessment of the planned support structure for identified after the project was underway. do additional repair work which was IMPACT: The original contract budgeted a total of $42,281 .00 for the remodeling project, which included $3,300 for contingencies. Of this amount, a total of $42,245.00 in construction related expense was incurred. Field Change Orders totaled $3,261 compared to the $3,300 budgeted for contingencies.
