On February 24, 1987, the City Council by Resolution No. 12912 awarded a
contract for the installation of street lights on Bonita Road from East Flower
Street to I-805 and the traffic signal at Bonita Road and Bonita Glen Drive to
D & H Perry, Inc. The work is now completed.
RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt a resolution accepting the contract work.
BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
D & H Perry, Inc. completed the installation of the street lights on Bonita
Road (East Flower Street to I-805) and the traffic signal at Bonita Road and
Bonita Glen Drive on June 17, 1987. A final inspection was made on June 30,
1987, and all work was found to be completed in accordance with the contract
plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
It should be noted that the FY 1987-88 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) has a
project approved to install the landscaping and irrigation system for this
median.
