REVIEWED BY: City Manager frill (4/5ths Vote: Yes No X ) RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council adopt a resolution accepting the subject dedication. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: Recently, Joseph and Murielle Bordi, submitted an application for a building permit at 330 Palomar Street. Palomar Street is designated as a collector street in the City' s General Plan. Current Chula Vista standards call for a right-of-way width of 84 feet for collector streets. The current right-of-way width along the frontage of the subject property is 80 feet. To conform to current standards, the owners have been required to dedicate a 2-foot wide strip along their frontage on Palomar Street. Section 12.24.010 of the City Code provides that the owners of the property being developed may be required to dedicate necessary right-of-way. The document granting this easement has been executed by the owner and submitted to the Engineering Department. It has been found to be satisfactory and is now ready for acceptance by Council .
